A half-hour stop-motion animation / live-action
special for YTV of Canada, winner of the 1999 Leo Awards "Best Animated
Program" and nominated for (4) 1999 Gemini Awards Starring Tom Cavanagh,
Created by writer Tony Philpott, David Bowes and Lisa-Jane
Gray. "TWISTEERIA" (Animation Director David Bowes, Art Director Lisa-Jane
Gray, Live-action Director Andrew Currie) featured 32 foam rubber
latex characters (fabrication under the direction of Jon Craney)
and over 52 miniature sets: From restaurant critic sharks riding mopeds,
singing gargoyles high above the city, to two terrible twin trolls with
a not so honest business of towing. All based on the "12 Original Tongue
Twisters" copyright Bowes Productions 1994 written by David Bowes and
Lisa-Jane Gray. Produced with Scintilla Entertainment.
